Christmas Rosettes

Finally picked up Tim Holtz's rosette die. I love it. It makes rosettes so much faster than Martha Stewart's scoring board.  I hope that he comes out with a die for a few larger rosettes maybe a 3 1/2", or 4".

From the Faucet ATC Swap

We had to come up with a creative idea for something coming out of a faucet. I chose to draw with sharpie and add color with colored pencils, then I smoothed out the texture with a colorless blender.

My partner and I both decided we wanted one of each.  I used turned wood pieces, acrylic paint, vintage postcards and photos,  ribbon, bling, beads, miniature ornaments, polymer clay, paper, felt and resin stickers.

Haunted Row Houses

This was a chunky swap, minimum size 4-6" wide and up to 9" tall.  I started by free hand cutting my house shapes and ended up making them all different. Layered on some patterned paper, then added paper windows and vintage halloween postcard images.  Next I used a white souffle gel pen and drew in my architectural details. A Sharpie pen was used to detail windows, pumpkins, and banners that I free hand cut to fit each individual house. I used some glitter pen to jazz up the images a bit.  My houses didn't get very "chunky", but I really like the way they turned out.
