Wedding Album - Danielle and Tyler

Their colors were purple, and silver.
I used Ariana stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations to sculpt and build the flowers for the cover.
Here is a side view of the cover from the ribbon side.  I used some wire edged ribbon this time, first time for that and it worked really well for this album, I will have to remember that for the future. Added strands of pearls and found some rhinestone encrusted trim that worked really well.  I tried using a twisted cord that had a strand of pearls twisted into it but found when I cut it it untwisted, but I found that added a lot of texture, so I untwisted it as I added it to the edges and yes happy accidents rock.

Pocket Letter - rubber stamped

So I joined a group on line that makes and swaps pockets letters and this group was set up by the gal that actually invented the pocket letter - Janette Lane.
This pocket letter was filled with stamped images and I thought this was a perfect time to use some of the flowers stamps I have been collecting for years now,  I used Copic markers and played around with some shading and was pleased with this attempt.

Pocket Letter - first try

So I discovered pocket letters online and love the concept.
I was inspired to try the red and black theme because those are my best friends colors and I had to make her one.  I used patterned papers, washi tape, tag punches and flower punches, layering, brads, and buttons.
Here is a sample of some of the items that can be found in the back pockets of a pocket letter.  For this one I used lots of washi tape and different die cut/punched shapes.

B is for Believe

One of our first grade teachers at school is retiring this year and everyone was given the opportunity to do something special that would follow along with the first graders who for the last 26 days of school have something special for every letter of the alphabet.  I picked the letter B because I love making banners and then I went ahead and chose a "b" word for my banner also.
Wasn't sure what colors she liked to I just had fun picked from some of the gorgeous patterned papers that I had.  Turns out she really loved the color palette that I chose for her.
I used chipboard, scrapbook papers, washi tape, and stickers.
Each letter was hand drawn using Sharpie marker on a circle of cream colored card stock.  That circle was layered onto patterned paper and scalloped around the edge.  The scalloped shape was applied to another piece of patterned paper which I cut in a square shape and placed on each banner piece.
Ribbon was used to tie each banner piece together and for hanging at the ends.  I found 2 large layered flower stickers for the end pieces of the banner.  Additional layered flower and butterfly stickers were used to accent each banner piece.
