Cupcake Dotee Doll

This dotee was a lot of fun and I like the bead I found for the tail.  It is a polymer clay bead shaped like a piece of cake. I picked up several "slices" of cake at the Madison Glass Art and Bead Show
the year before last. No real plan, just couldn't resist the cuteness factor, and I think they were just the perfect touch for my cupcake dotee.

My first dotee doll

Here she is, my first attempt at a dotee doll.  This one is for a Valentine dotee doll swap, the only requirement beyond regular dotee doll specifics was that this doll have a heart on it somewhere. I had this cute fabric that had hearts on it, added a heart shaped button and on the back I used two pierced felt hearts for wings.

Valentine ATB's

Valentine Artist Trading Blocks
I just joined a new Yahoo group - Chubby ATB's. Our very first swap is a Valentine swap. Blocks are the size of ATC's and about 1.5" thick.  All sides are treated and finials and feet could be added. I tried to use different treatments for each block as far as glass, wood, ribbon, stickers, stamped images, vintage images, ribbon, flowers, and felt. These were so much fun to put together!
These photos give you front, back, and side views of each ATB.
