Origami Lotus Flower

I found the instructions online by googling, looking for neat project ideas to use with my origami club students, in grade 4-8.  This particular lotus was made with transparent origami paper with the idea that I would put a battery operated tea lite inside, but it was too small.  I did make a larger on and it worked, but I gave it to one of my students before thinking to take a photo.

Mini Origami Books

Made these cute mini origami books that take one square of origami paper.  Probably a bit frustrating to do with my younger origami clubbers.  I made the bookcase that goes with it, but the books would just pop right off the shelves, haven't come up with a solution for that one.

Two-sleeve Art Dolls

These dolls were sized to fit into two trading card sleeves.  Open media swap.

I used a small print patterned paper to cover the background, added a vintage or photo portrait, lots of die cut images, and then fine line Bic permanent markers for designing around the heads.
