Heartfelt Creations Class

CKC Convention in Collinsville, IL.  Using the Birds and Blooms collection and vellum to create these three cards.  (Photos are not doing my colors justice.)

Mixed Media ATC's

These are from a class that I took at the CKC Convention in Collinsville.  This was unusual because the ATC's were all clear plastic.

Pearlized modeling paste through a stencil, torn paper on front and back, paper flower added to front, and metal paper clip on the side.

 Plastic ATC run through an embossing folder, ink rubbed over the top, paper, ribbon, burlap mesh, metal hardware, paper flower, and paper text with inked edges.

 Gold ink stamped on the front, paper added to the back, cork, paper clip, paper flower, 

metal fleur de lis, and crocheted lace.

 White ink stamped on the front, torn paper added tot he back, paper flowers, text blocks, and a string of pearls.

Paper added to the back, crocheted lace on the front, paper images on the front, and metal hardware.

Fairy Garden

For this swap we could choose the kind of box to create our miniature fairy gardens in and I decide to use an IPod box.  I saved the paper insert so that I could have a hidden aspect to my garden. 

I did some layering with pop dots with my image to create some depth.

Inside I created a flower garden full of little paper flowers that I made using flower dies.

Stamped Butterflies and Flowers Pocket Letter

The challenge here was to use rubber stamps, so I  used some of the gorgeous Northwoods butterfly stamps I just got at the Rockford stamp show.  Rummaged through some sets that had various combinations of shapes and found a few more butterflies and a gorgeous set of butterfly tag stamps.  Added in patterned papers and washi tapes.

So I tried something new and built this book with chipboard and card stock and had hinged fold out pages inside.  The bride's colors were navy and merlot. I pulled in lots of white, with touches of black, silver and gold.
