Wedding Album for Tyler - cover

This is an 8" x 10" album that I built using mat board.  I used 9 boards and 2" book rings as a binding.  For the backgrounds I chose to use patterns of white and grey.  Their colors are navy blue and coral, so I made paper spiral roses in navy blue, light blue, coral, peach, and white cardstock.  I hand cut and shaped some green cardstock leaves to soften the edges of the flowers.  Then I added swirls of pearls and a pearl heart for some bling.

I decided that the book rings needed to be "softened" so added bunches of ribbons.

Prima Doll - Luck of the Irish - Pocket Letter

Pocket Letter Pals swap that I hosted - required to use at least one Prima doll and then go Irish.  I did 3 hand drawn shamrock ATC coins along the left hand side.  On the bottom center pocket I drew a pot of gold at he end of a rainbow.  I found a couple of Irish sayings for the top two pocket center and right.  The middle pocket is a shaker pocket with sequins and beads.  I dressed my Prima doll in lots of green patterned papers.

Wee Folk House Shaped ATC's

These ATC's had to cut into house shapes.  the inhabitants could be leprechauns, gnomes, elves, or fairies.  I decided to do gnomes and I felt that mushroom shaped houses would be fun to try.  I drew with Sharpie pen and experimented with my new Prima watercolor pencils.  I found these pencils to be very soft in color so where ever I wanted more intense color I used my Spectrum Noir permanent markers.
