Junkyard Art

Sunday morning, last class at the Glass Art and Bead convention in Madison, WI.  For this class we worked with wire - 18ga, 20ga, and 22ga.  We had to bring out treasure stash - old jewelry, buttons, rummage sale finds, beads, whatever we had at home that we wanted to try and incorporate into this piece.  I used old keys, bits of jewelry, buttons, resin beads shaped like dominoes, dice, old typewriter keys, some metal tags I picked up at a garage sale that looked like they came from key tags from a swimming pool locket basket, and some copper beads.  I used 4 colors of wire - copper, bronze, gold, and black.  I actually got this piece done in class and wore it home.  Very pleased with the results.
