Halloween Blank Junk Journal - Part 1

This was a swap-bot swap.  Minimum of 12 pages, under 8" x 10", 2 pockets and 2 tags, recycle and re-purpose papers as much as possible, scrapbook paper could be used, and at least one  halloween element per layout.
My swap partner liked Edgar Allen Poe, so that decided the cover for me.  I used lots of Halloween patterned papers throughout the book.  On the cover I added some Halloween patterned washi tape and a die cut border by Martha Stewart.

I used cereal and cracker boxes for my page bases. I found some old orange file folders that I cut down to fit my 8" x 9.5" page format.  I cut the file folder scrap into potion bottle shapes.  I created some smaller add in pages using old government topography maps.

Layout 1 -vintage Halloween postcard image, die cut acetate sticker from Martha Stewart, die cut borders from Martha Stewart. (She really impressed me with the Halloween stuff she cam out with last year and I really stocked up.)  I designed the potion bottle myself and found some free downloadable potion labels online.

Layout 1 - here is the inside view of the file folder, die cut border on the right by Martha Stewart.
Layout 1 - the potion bottle opens up to hold a photo or journaling, I ran my die cut border right through it along the bottom.
Layout 2 - Die cut and acetate borders by Martha Stewart.  Holographic portraits stickers from Walmart on the topographical map page.
Layout 2 - Other side of the map page, Martha Stewart potion bottle, and die cut border.
Layout 3 - The skeleton sticker on the left is from the Jolee's Boutique line.  I added in envelope pockets using security envelopes from bills I got in the mail which I turned inside out. If the envelopes tore when I opened them or as I deconstructed them I just patched them with black and white patterned scrapbook paper scraps.  The envelope has a die cut border from K and Company.
Layout 3- Inside the envelope I put a size #8 tag which was covered with patterned paper and a die cut border from Martha Stewart.
Layout 3 - The back of the envelope has a die cut acetate sticker from Martha Stewart.  The little orange page I added was made from card stock and the die cut bat I found at the dollar store, they came 15 to a package - awesome! (They also had rats, spiders, and owls.)
